Welcome to Timber Trail at 864 Ongarue Waimiha Road

Nestled in the hills is this peaceful farm cottage – a perfect place to stay before and after riding the Timber Trail.

We are only 8.4 ks from Bennett Road Car Park – the end of the Timber Trail.

Accommodation

You will enjoy having the whole house to yourselves as we only host single parties being individuals, families and groups.

There are 2 bedrooms with Queen beds in them so we can accomodate up to 4 people.

• Fully equipped kitchen and dining area for your use including stove, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, freezer, cooking utensils, cutlery and crockery etc.
• Bathrooms including bath, shower and toilets
• Bedding, linen, towels and toileteries provided – laundry area with washing machine.
• Outdoor areas including gardens, large lawns, barbecue area on deck and open parking areas.
• Self catering.
• Log-burning fireplace to keep you warm in winter – plenty of firewood supplied.
• Cards and board games available but bring a book as there is no wifi and cellphone reception is rather flaky.

Features

• Great peaceful rural setting. You are welcome to walk around the farm and enjoy the views at the top of the hill.
• Enjoy the evening sky on a clear night – absolutely amazing without light or atmospheric pollution.
• Suitable for horses. If you have horses and want a trek over the farm there is a safe paddock available for the horses and plenty of room to park the float. (The loop around the farm is about 8 ks with extra riding on request.)
